The 2nd beta release of the pixyBlog service is now online. This latest release has many back-end improvements with the handling and storage of photos, an improved user-interface and puts us one step closer to the full release of the service.
Some of the changes our users will notice include:
Multiple photos per blog entry
As requested by our users, you can now post up to five photos on an individual blog entry.
Photo management
A new interface in the admin area now allows you to view and manage all you photos.
Previews and thumbnails
Users can now make use of the following photo thumbnails and previews which are automatically generated when each photo is uploaded:
* indicates the largest dimension of the resized photo.
Watermarks
Users can now apply embedded watermarks to their photos. Watermarks can either be created by the user and uploaded to their site, or users can use our online watermark generator tool to create a subtle opaque watermark image.
The watermarks can be applied and removed at any time. Watermarking of photos can be set-up as default for any new photos uploaded.
