Those of you who follow PixyBlog closely will know who Sven, of from10to300mm fame, is. He's not only an awesome photographer (checkout his photoblog), but also a prolific poster in our discussion forum and one of the most active members of our community... especially when it comes to customizing his photoblog. It seems whatever we develop here at PixyBlog, Sven will find a use for it.
Most recently Sven is beta-testing a text blog version of our photoblog system which is now integrated into his site. This is a feature that we've been working on for a while now, and which this very news blog is powered by. This came about after a post in our discussion forum, so lookout for some more information about this in the coming months.

If you wonder-over to Sven's blog you will also note that his sidebar contains the most recent images from his photoblog. This is made possible by our PixyBlog Badge feature which allows any PixyBlogger to easily insert the most recent photos from their photoblog into another website.
You may also note the inclusion of his Twitter log and other related information, this is made possible by FriendFeed which, like the PixyBlog Badge, allows you to insert information from your other web services into a website.
There are many other such online services where you can include information from one service, into another. Just to mention a couple; there is the Flickr Badge and your del.icio.us bookmarks.
So given the amount of work and effort Sven has put-in to the PixyBlog community, last week we approached him to ask if he would be interested in being even more involved than he already is. To start with, Sven is now the first moderator on our discussion forum and beta-tester for new developments at PixyBlog
So a very big thank you and kudos to Mr Sven Seebeck!
Thanks from the PixyBlog team
Just a quick follow-up post to our PixyBlog badge for your other websites; one of our team has just come across a javascript DHTML version of the Flickr badge which would also work for PixyBlog. Here's a link to the article by Joe Tan, and below is a example of the badge from our demo website:
Do you have another website or blog as well as your PixyBlog? Would you like an easy way to display your latest photographs on another site? You can now with our new PixyBlog Badge.
Our badge is a simple include that you can copy-and-paste into the pages of your other sites. You can change the number, size and orientation of the photographs displayed. You can even display photographs from a specific Gallery or Tag. All this is easily configurable from your PixyBlog admin interface; just login and go to "Settings > Badge" to customize your own.
Below is a sample badge showing the 6 latest photos horizontal on the demo.pixyblog.com site.
