Update mostly completed. A task will be running for the next 24 hours to update any missing thumbnails from users photoblogs. The main purpose of this update is to fix the problems with the new media server, although there are some other behind-the-scenes changes as well.

System update in progress

We started updating the Pixy system this morning (GMT). The update has been mostly completed, but we are still waiting for all the images to migrate to their new server (about 90% complete so far). We don't envisage any further disruption to our service, but it will take a good few of hours to complete moving the images. So if you have photoblog with us then there's a chance some of your images won't show... but don't worry, they'll be back soon.

We will post news article shortly regarding the changes in Pixy 3.6

UPDATE (Sunday 28th)

99% complete on moving the images to their new server.
Reports of slow uploading of new images fix just applied. Still seems slow to anyone?
Watermarking is still not working. We're onto it... should be back running again soon.

UPDATE 2 (Monday 29th)

100% complete on moving the images to their new server.
Watermarking is now working. However, there is still an issue if you are creating a new watermark stamp. Existing watermarks work fine though.
Slow image uploading is still an issue with the latest system update. We know what the problem is and we're now working to resolve this.

UPDATE 3 (Tuesday 30th)

Watermarking problem has returned. It appears to be intermittent and is related to the slow uploading of new images. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. We're pretty sure that when we fix the slow image uploading that this problem will be resolved as well. For now though we recommend that users disable watermarking temporarily until we resolve these issues.

If anyone finds a problem, please let us know.
